The history of the 19th and 20th centuries has highlighted a number specific aspects phenomenon religious identity, roots which can be traced back to Reformation. “language respondents” (“language first order”) experts” second are distinguished, differing as observation reality observers reality. study analyzes ideas about “us”, “them”, global, local, glocal on materials from Belarus Russia in comparison with Germany. article considers alternative forms personal group identification, have gone through historical stages their relationships, having retained significance present time, often interpreted relationship absolute “good” “evil”, while one case religion is “good”, friend - another.
